What to expect in a yoga class with Akke
Practicing at home, how to set up:
There may be distractions like other people and/or pets in the home, phone calls, messages, etc.
Please take the time to create
Yoga classes are offered at Gentle, Beginner and Intermediate Levels.
You can sign up on the REGISTRATION page.
- You learn how to bring your attention inward through focusing awareness on the breath, sound vibrations and eye movements.
- You practice yoga poses that enable greater freedom of movement in your joints and strengthen your muscles.
- You will be guided through a deep relaxation, learning how to physically relax and mentally unwind.
- You will receive instructions in breathing techniques and meditation for greater mental concentration.
Practicing at home, how to set up:
There may be distractions like other people and/or pets in the home, phone calls, messages, etc.
Please take the time to create
- Time in your schedule for yourself, as if you were going to a class
- A space where you can roll out your mat, where you can see your device from your mat
- Get props ready, you might need a chair, block, blanket, strap
- Minimize disruptions, e.g. turn off the phone (like you did at the studio)
